I was curious to see which conferences had their teams on TV this week. First I excluded the airing of conference networks. Here's what I found:
Big 10 had 9 of their 14 teams on TV.
SEC has 7 of their 14 teams
Pac-12 has 7 of its 12 teams
Big 12 has 8 of its 10 teams
ACC has only 4 of its 14 teams (excl. ND)

Now...all networks are not equal. From my judgement the Big 10 has the best coverage as nearly all of their games are on the widely distributed ABC/ESPN family of networks. Throw in the Big 10 Network and the conference has 100% of their programs on TV.

SEC is on ESPN and CBS network...also with high degree of distribution. Add the SEC network, 12 teams are on TV. Not sure if there are teams with a bye but an impressive 12 of 14 are on TV.

Surprisingly the Big 12 gets 8 of its 10 team on air. Their networks are not as strong as a bunch of games are on MSG...but I believe MSG is frequently included as part of basic packages on many cable and satellite providers.

The Pac-12 gets 7 of its teams on air. Fox, CBS and ESPN are it's partners...which provide ample coverage. Not sure how many games that the Pac-12 Network is airing...but probably not as good of coverage as the Big-10 or SEC. Also of important note TWO of the Pac-12 games are starting after 10pm tonight (EST).
ACC TV airing appears to be pretty weak.

Overall, I think Larry Scott needs to call an audibe on his TV strategy. While I like the Fox and CBS affiliation but the Pac-12 Network is not working well. Also, need to limit the late games as much as possible.
