A perfect example of why you keep relationships positive in recruiting. Wisconsin OLB/DL TJ Bollers visited Cal during his recruitment and was a priority target for the Bears back in the 2021 class. Now, he's headed to Berkeley to join the team after three seasons in Madison. He played in four games in 2023 but was on the field in 11 contests in 2022. The Bears are bringing him in as a defensive lineman but he was listed as an outside linebacker with the Badgers.
He's added weight and is close to 280 pounds now, so he will slide inside and play along the front at Cal.
Bollers had been a four-star prospect ranked No. 105 overall as a recruit from Clear Creek Amana in Tiffin, Iowa.
