Nick Saban will be in California on Wednesday to check in on the nation’s No. 1 overall recruit.

Najee Harris’ mother, Tianna Hicks, told SEC Country that Saban will stop by her job and then stop by her home tonight. This will be the only time Saban will be able to stop by Harris’ home because the dead period begins Monday night at midnight and Harris is an early enrollee, which means he’ll be on campus in January.

before Monday, although that seems highly unlikely given the time constraints.

Saban will be joined on the visit by outside linebackers coach Tosh Lupoi, who Harris’ mother has called family. Expect Saban and Lupoi to try to get Harris’ mind set on only Alabama Wednesday night.
