I can confirm Woody's report that Demetris Robertson signed an FAA with Cal. This tucks nicely in with what I shared last week: Cal is a major player for the 5-star, very possibly in the driver's seat.
But put your boners down for a second.
The FAA is non binding and Robertson has clearly stated he has yet to make a final decision. This gesture shows Cal is absolutely in the thick of it, but this isn't over. He very well could sign one with another school, or multiple schools. He won't sign an LOI, and theoretically won't be bound to any school until he actually enrolls and attends classes this summer. That said, I expect the next commitment he makes to be his last, and for the saga to end.
It just might end very well for Cal.
