ESPN:
After speaking with NBA scouts and college coaches, here are five international players college basketball fans should keep in mind over the next year or two.
Killian Tillie[/B] | France
The younger brother of former Utah center Kim Tillie, Killian was the MVP of the U16 European Championships, averaging 14.3 points and 9.6 rebounds while shooting 64.4 percent on two-pointers. Scouts say he's a terrific offensive rebounder with athleticism and a great motor. Tillie also has another older brother, Kevin, who played volleyball at UC-Irvine. California is among the schools in the mix for the 6-foot-8 Tillie, who will turn 17 in the spring.
Moritz Wagner[/B] | Germany
Wagner, a 6-foot-9 combo forward, plays for Berlin's junior team - and scouts say he has the athleticism and skill to be an NBA prospect. Because of his ability to make shots from the perimeter, Wagner could be ideal in catch-and-shoot and pick-and-pop settings. Michigan has watched Wagner, while California and Connecticut are also involved. Wagner plays with former UConn forward Niels Giffey at the club level. He will turn 18 in the spring.
