Saturday’s 33-7 win against UCLA was a full circle moment for the Bears, in just about every sense of the word. An end to the Bears’ regular season. An end to the Pac-12. One final win over an old rival.

Cal fans can, and certainly should, celebrate, but this win is first and foremost for the players. And, oh how happy they looked. Cal head coach Justin Wilcox was thrown by first-year offensive coordinator Jake Spavital into a Gatorade shower, courtesy of Monroe Young and T.J. Session and was quite literally jumping with joy on the sideline following the win.

As the Bears become bowl eligible for the first time since 2019 and cap of their regular season with a three-game win streak, the Pac-12 saw its last-ever regular season game. There are a lot of things to reflect on right now, I tried to capture some of them.
