I was watching one of the Pac-12 Network football shows last night (I think it was called "Inside the Pac-12") and Matt Leinert and Curtis Conway (both former USC players) were asked the question: Who poses the biggest threat to unseat the Oregon Ducks atop the Pac-12 North?

Both of them answered: Cal

Why?
  • If you're going to beat the Ducks, you have to be able to score a LOT of points. That is Cal, not Furd
  • Furd has beat the Ducks in the past based on very physical line play (OL and DL). It doesn't appear that Furd has that this year, at least based on the Northwestern game
Do folks agree?
