Who else do you follow?

Not sure about others, but I stopped watching at half and probably won’t watch a full game again the rest of the year. Actually switched to the Ole Miss Auburn game - after a great time in Oxford when we played them, I’m a huge fan of Ole Miss now. Also started rooting for UCLA over the last few years. And of course rooting for whoever is playing USC or Stanford. Curious what other teams people here follow?

Wilcox can add this to his resume

Skills- Program Manslaughter

Experience- California 2017-2022. Worked cross functionally with Bill Musgrave and Angus McClure to ensure that Cal has fewer fans in the stands than furd. Successfully created an offense that sucks the will to live from all those who view it. Ensured that 2 future Big12 teams get program changing momentum by gifting them their sole win of the season. Game changer. Redefined “OKG” to mean “we just need to execute better.”

I’ll give him credit. He’s always been responsive even though it comes off totally obvious to reality.

Let's pick the pac-12 games - Week 7

1-4 last week for 23-23 for the year. 0-1 for my lock of the week for 1-5 for the year: https://cal.forums.rivals.com/threads/lets-pick-the-pac-12-games-week-6.31475/

[home team in italics]

Cal by 14.5 over Colorado - This has all the classic signs of a wilcox turd game. Coming off a bye (wilcox does poorly off byes), road game against an inferior opponent, and fired opposing coach. That being said colorado is so terrible maybe this doesn't matter? I guess Colorado covers.

UW by 16 against Arizona - UW's d is not good. Seems like an Arizona cover to me, though UW probably scores 50.

ND by 16.5 over the Furd - Line looks about right, but I'm going ND.

Utah by 4.5 over USC - Too many points for a coin flip. USC covers.

Oregon State by 3 over WSU - WSU is just better.

Non conference lock of the week: Minnesota by 6.5 over Illinois - I like Illinois.

Scouting the Opponent: Bears look to get back on track vs. winless Buffs

Good breakdown of the matchup with Colorado by Jesse.

I'm telling you, Jaydn Ott should have a HUGEEEEE game Saturday. I'll be surprised if he doesn't get 200 again.

Some facts about colorado

They've played a brutal schedule. Not sure we would have won more than 2 of their first 6 games. Maybe 1.

TCU - 5-0
Air Force - 4-2
Minnesota - 4-1
UCLA - 6-0
Arizona - 3-3

Total: 22-6 with 5 power 5 teams.

They haven't played an offense anywhere close to as bad as ours:

TCU #2 in the country
UCLA #6
Minnesota #23
Arizona #24
Air Force #25

They do suck on offense though

Colorado #121

I would not expect they'd just roll over for us especially with a new coach. This is a typical game for wilcox to crap the bed. a 3-4 td victory as many have predicted would be a good sign for the future. Personally I think this game is close for 3 quarters at least
