Cal recently extended an offer to 6'9", 220-pound Ike Anigbogu. The 2016 center out of Centennial High School (and the Compton Magic program) boasts an enormous wingspan and athleticism that gives him an edge in mobility over many players his size. I personally like how he plays under the basket and think he could develop into an even quicker-footed big-man -- but the platform he has right now (quick, tenacious, strong, good footwork) is a good jumping-off point.
Here's video of him at the Tarkanian Classic: https://rivals.yahoo.com/video/recruiting-basketball/Tarkanian-Classic-Ike-Anigbogu-1132073
Similarly to the sentiments of many other players, Anigbogu looks up to Ivan Rabb and takes his decision seriously-- to the point where it could impact his own. Anigbogu told me that while he does not know Rabb personally, he is watching closely to see where he commits. Anigbogu is interested in Cal, but if Rabb commits to Cal, "I'd definitely look to go there a little more."
He added that he is "sure other players would too."
