Hey guys, I just spoke with Tyson Jolly. I will get a write up about our conversation up ASAP, but for now, here are some of the key things that he said.
On his visit: "I loved it. I loved everything about it. I got a good feel for the school. Like, what I’m going to have to do to make it in the school and how coaches coach."
On the Arizona game: "I loved it. The intensity of the game, the crowd filled the gym, the team is still undefeated at home; I wish I was playing."
On this year's team: "This year’s team has all the pieces to win the Pac-12 and win the NCAA tournament. They have all the pieces if they put their heads down and focus. They could surprise a lot of people."
On having to reclassify: "It was very frustrating. I tried to do everything possible [to play this season]. I wanted to learn from Tyrone how to translate from wing to point guard."
On what he's improved on: "I worked on my handle so much. My handle has gotten so much better. That was a key for me to get confidence in my handle. My jump shot is better."
