Point 1 - I think Fox is a much better coach. I actually think Jones is a very poor coach.
Point 2 - I don’t know if McNeil, Sueing and Vanover would have stayed.
That said, under the assumption those players had stayed, I am convinced the program would have been in better shape with Jones. There was some positive momentum in the teams play towards the end of last year. This year’s team would have been in the top half of the P-12. Jones was a decent recruiter (much better than Fox) and with a sense of momentum we would have a better pipeline of players than we currently do. I’m not confident Fox can get players necessary to be competitive at this level, whereas Jones could at least have a competitive roster.
(Most likely those players would have transferred anyway and this is all moot).
