If Cal runs the table and wins the Pac-12 tournament, they could potentially get as high as 4 seed in their region. If they lose their first game of the Pac-12 tournament on Thursday in the quarterfinals, they are probably looking at a #6 seed and maybe even a #7 seed.
But, rest assured that Cal is going to the NCAA Tournament. They’ve won 7 of their last 8 games and are looking poised to make a Sweet 16 run and possibly go even further depending on how everything else shakes out in the rest of the tournament.
