Been reading the pre-game write-ups and found these two facts to be interesting:
  • Cal's defense has yet to hold a Pac-12 opponent to 30 or fewer points since Dykes has arrived
  • Cal's offense has scored 30 or more points in the last 15 games, EXCEPT for against Washington (and Furd)
My gut: Cal will score more than 30 today (probably in the high 30's, maybe 40's) and UW will score less than 30.
I think our offense will be productive, both running and passing, while the Huskies will struggle to run (like they've struggled so far this season against Boise State and Utah State) and although QB Browning will be pretty good, he'll have a few true freshmen moments (e.g. turnovers) that will keep UW's scoring lower than 30 and which will be converted to points for Cal.

Hope I'm right...Go Bears!
