Assuming Wallace returns before the end of the season, where does he play? Point or two guard?
I'm thinking it will be point, but I also tend to believe it won't really matter. Hopefully, Wallace will have more of a ball distribution mindset upon his return. That's the best case scenario.
But even if he does not, I think it makes little difference. Whether he is the point guard or shooting guard, he will be on the perimeter, and will therefore be touching the ball on most of our half court offensive sets.. (We move the ball around the perimeter on most offensive possessions, so it ends up in his hands at some point anyway.) If Wallace is still intent on putting it on the floor and going to the basket, he is gonna have the opportunity to do it with pretty much the same frequency whether he is at point or shooting guard.
I gotta think that if we keep winning in his absence, Wallace is smart enough to understand how he can best contribute when he returns.
