UNLV is the final running for Troy Brown, Jr., Brandon McCoy, and P.J. Washington. If the Runnin' Rebels land all three guys, they'd be SCARY good with three guys who Cal has aggressively pursued. It would be kinda weird to see all three guys on the same team and not be in a Cal uniform.
Why am I posting this? I'm posting this because Brandon McCoy and Troy Brown, Jr. are still on the table for Cal to get and UNLV is starting to emerge as serious competition. Troy Brown, Jr. has visited UNLV several times and Brandon McCoy has an OV to UNLV set up this weekend. P.J. Washington ditched Cal a while ago, but he too has an OV to UNLV set up for November 4th.
Even though UNLV is a Mountain West team, they have a rich basketball tradition and a prominent basketball brand. Don't let their mid major status fool you.
