Tyrone Wallace on his comfort level running the team: “I think that I’ve just been able to find open guys. My confidence in all these guys is extremely high, and so when guys are open, I just try to find them in the right spots and I have the ball in my hands a lot for the majority of the game, therefore I can decide when I want to attack and shoot and when I need to get people involved, so I’ve just been trying to make the right plays.”

Tyrone Wallace on what the biggest difference is in his game between last season and this season is: “I don’t think I have to force, score the ball as much, but I’m able to get easy looks, which allows me to be a lot more efficient. I think I’ve worked at the free throw line, improved that area, improved my shot, but I think I’ve taken a lot of the same shots, it’s just the shots that I had to sometimes force last year and try to score, I don’t have to take those shots anymore.”

Tyrone Wallace on whether or not he feels more comfortable running the offense: “I’ve always felt comfortable. I feel the same. I may look better running the position to people that are looking from the outside in, but it’s because, like I said, I don’t have to force, I can find guys who are open, guys who are knocking down shots, so it probably makes me look better.”

Sam Singer on how he benefits from more scoring options and whether or not he is able to focus more on what he does best: “I don’t really go in with any certain mindset. I’m just trying to make plays like Ty said. But with more options, it’s easier to focus on putting them in positions to be successful while also being aggressive”

Sam Singer on whether or not he’s seen a difference in Tyrone Wallace: “Absolutely. I’ve had to guard him the past few years. As hard as it was last year, now it’s, his ability to make open shots has improved a lot, obviously you see the free throw line, so now if he’s hitting his free throws and able to hit form the outside, he’s really hard to guard because he penetrates so well and is able to finish with either hand and so I’ve seen a huge improvement even from last year even though he had a great year last year, I’ve seen a huge improvement this year because I think less pressure is on him to force up shots and he’s able to kinda just play the game. I’ve seen a big improvement.”
