So is Cal now a hoops school?

Though Dykes has solidified Cal Football, he hasn't accumulated close to the level of talent CM has on a relative basis. Does this mean Cal hoops is going to become a bigger deal to fans than football? Or is football just king no matter what, unless you are a BDW of a program?
