General question everyone. What would be the best way to notify someone (i.e. coach, recruiting coordinator, etc.) within our football program of a recruit very interested in CAL. A recruit at a need position, Safety 6-4, 215 lbs, 4.68 from North Carolina. I met his father during API which is the Navy's Aviation Pre-flight Indoctrination in Pensacola, Florida. We also went through Primary, Advance and the RAG flight training as well, before we went to our respective squadrons. He was a Marine Officer, that was his only down fall I am only saying that because, I was a Naval Officer. In all seriousness, he is an american war veteran, a hero. Over the years, we have become for all intents and purposes, Brothers. Well, his son is heading into his Senior year and a lot of the ACC schools are slow playing his recruitment.
This kid is a multi-sport guy. Jumps out the gym, I have personally seen him take off from the free throw line and destroy the rim on a basketball court. He is an exceptional student, his G.P.A. is very high. High enough to have Harvard, Dartmouth, Columbia and Penn looking at him as a student athlete.
This young man has expressed to me that CAL would be his dream school. As a CAL alum, I feel that he is the type of person, student and football player that would thrive and succeed at Berkeley. So, before I post his clips, Who should I talk to? Old WR 3, I would really like your input, if possible.
Thank you and Go Bears!!!
