Pretty sure most of you read about the Cal astronomy prof who was forced to resign following disclosure of some pretty aggressive groping of (female) students on his part over the last decade. Did any of you take a class with this guy, or know someone who was actually or allegedly groped? The article in today's Chronicle suggests that, because this professor was rumored to be a strong candidate for a Nobel Prize, the University was loathe to push him out the door.
