Is it me, or is assuming Lamar Jackson can in fact play WR, as insulting to guys playing WR, as the inference is to Jackson that he can't play QB in the NFL?
I mean there are plenty of great athletes who couldn't make it as a WR, and plenty of not elite athletes who have been very good WRs, sort of suggesting that great athletic ability isn't necessarily the most valuable trait in a WR.
If I had my mind set on playing QB, there is no way I workout at WR at the NFL combine. If teams want to invite me to their facilities to workout as a WR I might do that. But I'm not showing them I'm really open to it at the combine.
