Looks like the Giants got Mike Leake just in time. Did you see the box score from last night's game in Atlanta? A Dodger fan's dream. Eight guys took the mound for the Giants. Eight! Casilla got rocked for a two run game-tying homer with two outs in the ninth - by Giant fans' favorite A.J. Pierszynski. Then Ryan Voglesong surrenders a two run walk off job to someone named Adonis Garcia. They got Tomahawk Chopped to death.
It was only one game and it's a long season, but the Giants' bullpen (not to mention Matt Cain) does not look all that dominating of late. Suddenly, the Giants are three games back.
Have to say, though, that the Giants' everyday lineup has really been a revelation this season. Crawfprd went yard twice. He has 18 taters already - at shortstop. Really wish he was playing his home games in Chavez Ravine. Posey is also bringing it, and even the new kid they brought up (Kelby Tomlinson), had a memorable game.
