Just wanted to put together a thread of everything to look out for over the next week. It has been a relatively quiet time on the recruiting front, but there's a lot of virtual in-homes and everything that are being put together this week.

Planned Early Enrollees (that I know of): Bastian Swinney, Akili Calhoun, Kaleb Higgins, Jermaine Terry II, Ryan Lange, Patrick Hisatake, also Nate Rutchena (2020 greyshirt)

Who's not enrolling early: Keleki Latu, Lu Hearns, Kaleb Elarms-Orr, Derek Wilkins, Dylan Jemtegaard, Myles Williams, Kai Millner

Still need to know about: Hunter Barth, J. Michael Sturdivant, Mavin Anderson (sounds like he's going to play his senior year), Fatuvalu Iosefa, Moses Oladejo (also leaning toward playing his senior year), Will Reed

This is a strange time, as so many of these guys haven't played a senior year (all but four), and there are going to be guys like Lange, Calhoun, Terry, Hisatake, and Higgins that aren't going out after a big senior year. More could join them, Iosefa could come early like his brother did earlier this year.

Terry's still someone to keep an eye on, as Arizona State has been aggressive with him in recruiting. Cal has been aggressive in trying to keep him on-board as well (not that Twitter follows mean anything, but he did just follow CJ Anderson). It does not look like Will Reed will be a part of this class

As far as other targets:

LB Yanni Karlaftis - Hard to see this one going Cal's way at the moment. Everything has pointed toward him staying home at Purdue, especially with the pandemic keeping everyone home now. Just a reality of our current world

RB Byron Cardwell - The Oregon offer was a meaningful one, more than the Notre Dame one (Notre Dame has a couple other targets on their RB board at the moment), but it's still a relatively open race with Cardwell waiting until February to sign. There's the possibility Cal could get him on campus if he wants to take a trip up, but it's hard to predict anything this year with any level of certainty

DB John Howse IV (Vandy commit) - Mentioned that Cal reached out to him in the aftermath of Derek Mason getting fired. He's waiting to see what they do with their coaching decision (likely Coastal Carolina's Jamey Chadwell or Notre Dame's Clark Lea) before he makes any decision.

I'm set to talk to Kai Millner later this afternoon and more recruits throughout the week, so I'll keep you guys posted
