Cal lost out on 2023 TE target Will Anciaux this evening as he picked to stay closer to home committing to Kansas State. The position remains a priority for the Bears in this class, and earlier tonight Geep Chryst and the staff offered Tennessee-based tight end recruit Ben Marshall from Blackman HS in Murfreesboro. The 6-foot-5 recruit is currently rated as a high three-star prospect by Rivals, and he has an interesting offer list with schools from around the country at different levels. Among his current Power Five offers are Pittsburgh, West Virginia, Indiana, NC State, Vanderbilt and Ole Miss. Cal is the first Pac-12 school to offer him so far.
