Cal Athletics and law firm Troutman Amin have agreed to a sponsorship deal that will bring corporate logos to field at California Memorial Stadium once again.
"We are absolutely thrilled to enter into this innovative new partnership with Troutman Amin, LLP, especially since Eric Troutman is a Golden Bear himself," AD Jim Knowlton said in a statement announcing the deal. "Troutman Amin's support helps us in our ongoing quest to provide a world-class experience for our student athletes and is another means for us to generate revenue as we move forward in this evolving landscape of intercollegiate athletics."
The Troutman Amin, LLP logos will be painted on the 25-yard lines at CMS opposite the ACC logos and that will take place this week meaning they will be on the field for the 127th Big Game.
The Irvine-based law firm was founded by Cal alum Eric J. Troutman (1999).
"If you stop and think about it, this was a no-brainer for us," Troutman said. "Cal is one of the top two schools in Silicon Valley, and one of the nation's leading engines for high-tech innovation. Troutman Amin, LLP is recognized as one of the country's most innovative law firms focused on emerging practice areas like telecom, data privacy and AI. So, this is an absolutely perfect match. And the fact that I am a Cal grad just makes it all the more meaningful."
