I didn't want to hijack the Krys Barnes thread and the question isn't about him specifically, but got me wondering:
If other schools (and notable ones at that) have offered, does that mean Cal just hasn't reviewed his tape/seen him yet?
And/or: Is there a strategy regarding offering a kid in person?
Obviously, there are kids that the Cal staff are not going to like that other schools do (not even counting the academic component) but is it also just a lot of kids to get to, and they haven't gotten there yet?
Lastly, in this day and age, maybe being a California kid doesn't matter, but you would think Cal would know of those kids before out of state schools?
