PG Charlie Moore has moved up and is near, or at, the top of the list. Dennis Smith not likely to get far from the Research Triangle Park area. Moore's last game in LV was a monster. 31 points, NBA threes, sharp passes, played under control (this has been a criticism of his style). He was matched against Alterique Gilbert, five star (#23 ESPN player in the nation) UCONN commit. Moore (#89 four star) completely outplayed him. So much for rankings. Moore now listed at 5-11 for what that means. Probably a bit of a stretch to keep LB happy.

Martin and crew watched this game. Nearby Illinois will be biggest competition. Jerome Randall is very active in Chicago basketball. Moore knows him and Randall has apparently been promoting Cal. Sounds like he wants to make an OV. Regardless of size he is a helluva basketball player. I hope Cal gets him. No idea of his academics.
