Ohio State junior quarterback Devin Brown has officially signed with Cal today signaling the end of his recruitment. He committed to the Bears a while back but wanted to focus on the CFP so kept it under wraps (poorly). He'll join incoming freshman Jaron Sagapolutele and College of San Mateo transfer Dominic Ingrassia as the newcomers to the quarterback room with the Bears.
Brown, who was the No. 4-ranked quarterback in the 2022 class by Rivals and a top-100 prospect, was never able to get on the field consistently in Columbus but does have at least some experience. The 6-foot-3, 212-pound Arizona native played in nine games this season and went 11 for 20 for 114 yards and a touchdown. He'll have two seasons of remaining eligibility left with the Bears.
