Former top-100 prospect and Ohio State transfer receiver Kyion Grayes has announced his commitment to the Bears this morning. The Chandler, Arizona native only played in two games in two seasons with the Buckeyes and caught one pass for 2 yards. He didn't make an appearance in 2023 after redshirting in 2022 leaving him with three seasons of eligibility at Cal.
He was previously rated as the 19th-best receiver in the 2022 class by Rivals and No. 3 player from Arizona.
Grayes has had difficulties cracking a receiver rotation that is plenty deep at OSU, but he should be right in the mix with the Bears.
