After an exciting win versus the Bruins (and looking forward to a bowl game), I thought it might be useful to summarize what the 2024 Cal football schedule will look like next year (which will hopefully have 7 home games):
Non-conference:
For conference play, based on the ACC schedule announced:

Home:
Away
For ACC conference play, that means next year we get to face three teams (Syracuse, Pitt and Wake Forest) that had three of the four worst conference records this year in the ACC. And we only face two teams (Florida State and NC State) that had positive conference records this year in the ACC. We of course face Furd and SMU, who we'll have to see how they do in the transition to the ACC along with Cal.
Hopefully this means we can get a winning conference record in our first year in the ACC. Obviously, a lot needs to happen between now and then. For example, we clearly need NIL, transfer portal, and HS recruiting momentum.
Non-conference:
- 8/31 – UC Davis
- 9/7 – at Auburn
- 9/14 – San Diego State
- TBD - 4th non-con opponent, likely a home game.
