In men's rugby. We rested about half of our starters and two deeps and were still somehow able to come out with the victory at the Farm.
To be fair, the game was far closer than the score makes it appear. Stanford played hard and was competitive throughout warmups. It really wasn't until the ref blew the whistle to start the game that things got out of hand.
Wouldn't it be great if Stanford could pull its head out and field a real rugby team? They were competitive not that long ago. I'm guessing they only showed up for the game out of fear Jack Clark would send them another shaming letter if they didn't.
