Cal has landed its impact safety for the transfer season. Four-star transfer Ryan Yaites has announced his commitment to the Bears after one season at LSU. The former four-star recruit from Denton (Texas) Guyer HS strongly considered the Bears out of high school before picking the Tigers.
Now, he'll join the program as the top-rated transfer this offseason.
The 6-foot-1, 200-pound safety played in 13 games in his freshman season at LSU and came away with 18 tackles and one pass defensed. He currently checks in at No. 64 in the Rivals portal rankings.
