Arizona DB Mason Lewis commits to Cal
Cal added to its 2026 recruiting class on Tuesday when Chandler (Ariz.) Basha DB Mason Lewis committed to the Bears.
Boom! New commitment for the Bears this afternoon as 2026 defensive back Mason Lewis has announced his pledge to Cal following his recent official visit. Vanderbilt and Minnesota were heavily in the mix with Kansas State and Iowa also involved. Cal only entered the picture with an offer for Lewis in late May, but Allen Brown did a great job building that relationship in a short among of time, and it led to his commitment after the trip to Berkeley. Lewis has good size and will fit in well at the safety position for the Bears.
