Hey everybody, back and settling in and wanted to share which football recruits visited or will visit Cal this week. I'm working on catching up with a few of these guys for their impressions:
Monday:
- 2-star Alabama LB Tadarrius Patterson- Don't let the ranking fool you, he's good. Trying to get a hold of him.
- RB/ATH Connor Wedington (Washington commit)- Interesting. No offer yet but one to watch.
Wednesday:
- 4-star Santa Margarita OL Brett Neilon- This was important and sounds like it went well. Neilon is headed to Ann Arbor today but I'm trying to get a hold of him for reaction to the Cal visit. He did pick up an SC offer that may be impactful in his recruitment.
- 4-star Florida QB Mac Jones (Kentucky commit)- Jones doesn't have a Cal offer yet. Gonna talk to him about the trip.
- Monte Vista QB Jake Haener- Haener is pretty far down the list of QB targets, but worth keeping warm depending on the recruitment of other 2017's and how Cal's depth chart shakes out.
- 3-star Sacramento DE Victor Jones- Getting Jones back on campus frequently is a good thing. Hoping to talk with him soon.
Friday:
- 4-star Buena Park WR Taariq Johnson- Johnson is one of the priority WR targets for the Bears in what will be a very small WR class. This will be an important trip.
Monday:
