It's never a surprise when ucla recruits well given location and tradition, and they're off to really good starts in '16 (3 commits including a 5 star pg) and now 2017 with Hill.
If Cuonzo does what I think he is capable of doing, and stays at Cal for awhile, I can see the p12 tier into 3 clearly top teams for awhile...zona, ucla, Cal. Hurley might be able to get asu up there at some point.
