Have to be happy with the way this is coming together.
The addition of Brandon Jones and the DLS coach look to be paying off in spades with the OL based on what I've seen and what Daniel Lasco told Ben Parker today.
The feedback on our new CB coach is equally positive. From players in the secondary to Goff and the WRs, everyone is saying how much better technique is getting.
Andre Carter back in the fold could be huge. Toughest position for us to recruit right now is the DL given the paucity of HS studs in California and academic issues that seem to correlate highly with this position group. He could be the next Peeler albeit in a different way.
And though folks have been harsh about Tate, I think there's reason to be optimistic about the haul he's brought in thus far in 2016 and I like his scouting/recruiting in 2015 as Bequette, Saffle and Johnson all look like clear winners to me in addition to the 4 star Ude.
Bottom line is that I feel like we have a top tier staff right now. Proof will be in the games this Fall but the trendline sure feels good.
