listening to the radio this morning, they had a pac-12 guy(didnt catch his name) on in hawaii because hawaii opens with colorado, but he did a pretty detailed rundown of all the teams. got to Cal, said we have the best qb in the conference. big question that we all know, can we play any defense? then he mentioned what Oregon does with their defense that he implied that we dont. He said Aliotti in the past went to a "hockey style" defense where he played the entire two deep, rotated them because of the fast paced offense. he suggested that this is something that we should do. question, do we have the depth to do this, especially in the secondary? to my memory, i dont remember us really rotating guys in the secondary last year, know that we do it in the d-line and linebackers. next question, should we rotate anyway even if there is a drop off between our first and second teamers, id argue part of the reason why we really struggled late in games is just that we were too tired.
