I'm going to write a story on this with more comments from Spav, but he said today that Cal will be adding another scholarship quarterback this spring once the portal window opens again and he can evaluate the options. He is of the mindset of adding the best available player at the position, but based on what he said today finding a mobile quarterback with game experience is the priority. It sounds like experience is going to trump anything else when evaluating potential QB options. You can hear a portion of his comments in the clip above.
