Great read - thanks guys.

I will chime in as well:

I agree that one of the WRs will earn a spot in the rotation. My sense is that it will be an open competition where the outcome may surprise and not reflect recruiting rankings. Physical readiness in terms of conditioning and strength (blocking) are mandatories. Consistency catching the ball and perhaps providing an element we don't already have within the position group could also be factors. Don't sleep on Brandon Singleton. He will be among the faster incoming frosh in the nation this year - He's top 10 nationally in the 110M hurdles already this season and he's got a thick lower body and a relatively developed upper body.

Saffle is another sleeper pick - I agree with MT that he has very good natural pass rushing technique and skills. If he does arrive at 240lbs+ of good weight that's plenty for him to get in some sub packages if he shows he can get to the passer. I like his tape better than any of the incoming players we've had for 3+ seasons in terms of getting to the QB. He needs to stay healthy but if he can, I see him perhaps sneaking into the long passing situation sub patterns.

I would be surprised to see any of the big kids on either line not redshirting, save for Wilson and Ude.

Bowers will absolutely be our 3rd string QB if Rubenzer breaks into the safety rotation.

I think this will be an interesting year for the incoming frosh. Our depth is pretty solid in most places so even STs slots may be limited to a handful of 2015 class members (e.g. Powell). The one caveat to that is one CB slot is likely open and perhaps as many as two safety slots. Thus, I agree with the calls on Albert and Psalms and perhaps even Rambo playing next year. I'm more skeptical about the kids who are making positional switches like Turner, McCrary and Hawkins. I think they'll have enough to absorb with academics, strength and conditioning, getting up to P12 speed in terms of football AND learning a new position.
