This is from watching him play three times (on TV), watching highlight reels and reading a lot of others scouting reports, so take it for what it's worth (not a ton).

Jaylen has an extremely high motor for a high school star. Plays defense with a vengeance and succeeds in no small part due to out hustling his opponent. Very good quickness and speed. Can really jump, not only a high leaper but a quick one as well.

Strongly built, especially in the lower body, can use his strength to score inside and to finish. Jump shot is a work in progress but has a decent release and rotation on it.

Stanley Johnson comparison is an apt one. I would say Johnson was more physical and aggressive inside on offense where as Johnson is a better perimeter defender, a better athlete and more effective in transition. Jaylen needs to polish his ball handling skills, he will draw a lot of charges based on his straight line drives. Not particularly adept going laterally when driving just yet, relies on quickness and hops more than agility and his handle. No mid range game at this point in his career.

Despite being rated more highly than Rabb, I believe he's slightly less ready to dominate in college. He dominated high school because of his size and elite athleticism not because he's more polished and skilled. He can be a fierce defender and a wicked finisher on the break right away but finding his game in the half court will need to be a priority for him. Will be interesting to see if Cuonzo uses him as an undersized four against smaller teams.
