At the Pac 12 BB press conference the writers picked the BB teams in this order: AZ, Cal, Utah and UCLA. Not that this makes any difference in how the season actually ends up. But it shows how useless the writer's opinions are. They pick based on past results. AZ lost 4 of their 5 starters. They returned their weakest player Tarczewski (<9 pts and <6 RB per game). They had a nice recruiting class, but these are all freshmen. Cal returns 4 starters, one of whom was All Pac 12. Bird and Mathews are better than any of AZs returning players. Cal's 2 main recruits, Brown and Rabb, are better that anyone AZ has recruited. We also have more depth. Go figure! Do they think Miller is a great coach, or a great recruiter? I think he is in the mold of Calimari. I expect Cal to win the Pac 12 regular season and win the Pac 12 tournament. Trust me!
