Cal sent out a new offer to recent visitor Jacob Lane today. The edge rusher, who also plays tight end, has been seeing increased attention over the last couple weeks and the Bears are the latest Pac-12 school to offer him. Lane plays up at Emerald Ridge HS in Puyallup, Washington. Arizona, Utah, Washington and now Cal have all offered him over the last two weeks while he has also added offers San Diego State, Colorado State and Montana State in that time. Though he plays on both sides of the ball he is expected to play defense in college.
