Here is the new Rivals250, and here is the story on big risers and sliders. Cal-related names abound in each.

Notable observations:
- Big jump for Pittsburg CB and UCLA commit Jordan Parker, up to #112 overall from 181. Cal may hang around here thanks to Shurod but probably more likely than Parker either sticks with UCLA or ends up at Oregon/SC. The allure to stay local and a strong season could definitely put Cal in contention though.
- Fontana Summit Slot/ATH Damian Alloway checks in at #110, down just outside of the Rivals100. Cal will hang around but I don't know how much of a priority Alloway really is at this juncture.
- DLS DT Boss Tagaloa at #113. Still an important priority and the true prize on the DL. Big need, work to be done.
- DLS TE/DE Devin Asiasi at #124. SC is supposedly a big frontrunner here but the longer his recruitment goes the better for the local school, in my opinion.
- O'Dowd OLB Camilo Eifler at #140, all the way up from #190. Cal is in his recently announced top 6, and will be a factor all throughout and probably the frontrunner with a good performance on the field this fall. Watch Oregon, Washington and Michigan. UCLA will be a threat if they prioritize him more or if any of their currently committed LB's stray.
- San Diego WR Steffon McKnight is at #174. This was a Likens offer and I'm not sure how much of a priority McKnight has been, but Cal is hanging around in his top 3 with UCLA being a rumored frontrunner. If the staff pushed I think he'd be an interesting option.
- Etiwanda CB Treyjohn Butler is at #184. Still maintaining his top 3 of Cal, Stanford and ASU but open to other programs as well. Stanford has two CB's committed and are in the drivers seat for Loyola ATH David Long, who could be a CB as well. Cal may be well-positioned here.
- Narbonne OL Alex Akingbulu at #245. UCLA and Michigan on top with Utah and Cal hanging around. We'll see if a visit materializes before he commits to UCLA.
- Calabasas Safety Marquel Dismuke is no longer in the Rivals250, but should retain his 4th star. Didn't participate in many camps and other guys moved ahead.
