It's simply not fun watching us get rolled over on both sides. We are so outmanned physically it is sad to watch as a fan. Unfortunately, the coaches have not shown any ability to outscheme our opponents.
Our WR's aren't good. At all. That is possible the most disappointing aspect of this year. Hands are below average and well below average speed.
The OL is weak weak.
The DL is ok but athletically below average. LB's suck. Absolutely terrible LB's. I say this as someone who typically gives a lot of leeway since they are "our guys". I still root for them but they don't have the ability to play in the p12. Certainly not against higher caliber teams.
Goff is an NFL qb but isn't a world beater and doesn't have the elite arm strength of typical top level QB prospects. He's gutsy and usually accurate. But rattled, which is understandable since the D gets pressure on him rushing just 3 or 4 leaving 7-8 to cover our 3-5 eligible receivers. If he was a scrambler a la Adams etc. then he'd be far more potent. Mobile qb's can get the 5-7 yds , with 90% certainly, that we get when he scrambles out of the pocket and dumps it off to a wr (which is proving to be far less reliable since they drop so many passes).
Enwere looked like he cared and ran with strength. So there's that.
