It is my personal belief that if Don Coleman commits, Jadé Smith probably won't commit to Cal. To be clear, this is only my opinion. If Don Coleman commits like I think he will, that will give Cal 1 new point guard in 2016 with 3 years of eligibility left to go along with two more point guards that will join the team in 2017 (Jemarl Baker, Jr. and Alec Hickman). To be clear, no source has indicated to me that this is in fact the case, but from what I sense and just my own personal belief, I think it's unlikely that Jadé Smith commits to Cal at this point. Especially since he told me he wants to go somewhere where he can make an impact and get a lot of playing time. E.g. San Jose State, who has also offered him a scholarship.
