As first reported by Tobias Bass of The Athletic today, Cal guard Mike Meadows is planning to re-enter the transfer portal after joining the Bears earlier in the offseason. He originally announced plans to transfer to LMU before making the move to Berkeley, and now he will explore his other options. It does open up a scholarship for Mark Madsen should someone else become available this late in the process. Meadows is a graduate transfer so he is eligible to leave now and play for another program this season.
