1-3-1 last week for 27-27-1 for the year (whoopee!) and 0-1 for my lock of the week for 4-5 for the year: http://cal.forums.rivals.com/threads/lets-pick-the-pac-12-games-week-9.7424/

[home team in italics]

Furd by 16 over Colorado - I'm done picking big favorites to cover in the pac-12 even for a team as bad as colorado. Colorado covers.

UW by 1 over Utah - This weeks WTF vegas line. Utah is in a bit of a spiral, but I have to think browning with not do well against Utah. Utah covers.

USC by 17.5 over Arizona - USC at home double digit favorite. Means they will lose right? See Furd/Colorado for why I'm really picking arizona. Arizona covers. (btw I'm not sure I've picked a single usc game right all season)

UCLA by 16.5 over OSU - I want to pick UCLA sooo bad, but see Furd/Colorado. OSU covers.

Oregon by 5.5 over Cal - This line looks about right. If the opening line held (Oregon -7.5), I'd probably pick Cal to cover. Oregon is no longer legit bad with adams at qb, but they still aren't a much better than a 7 or 8 win team and we match up well against them theoretically. I just wonder about our team's psyche and whether they can win a close game against a decent opponent. Oregon to cover. barely.

WSU by 1 over ASU - Let down game for WSU? Beats me. I have to think ASU is near mail in the season time, so I'm going with WSU.

non conference lock of the week: Baylor by 17.5 over Kansas State - 17 points with a true frosh qb on the road against a bill synder coached team (his record against the spread as an underdog at home is unbelievable)? yes please! Kansas State covers.
