At the moment, the only Cal target left on the Rivals 150 list is 4-star small forward Bryce Hopkins (#30), who included Cal in his final 9. Kentucky is the heavy favorite to land Hopkins at the moment with every FutureCast, including one coming in a few days ago picking Kentucky as his destination, so it's hard to feel optimistic about Cal's chances with him.
5-star point guard Hunter Sallis is down to 12 schools and Cal is not among those schools. Not that there was much hope Cal had a shot, but now the door is officially shut.
At this point, the main Cal target to keep an eye on in 2021 is Marsalis Roberson, who has Cal in his Top 4 along with Stanford, UCSB, and Cincinnati. Decision coming October 8th. Sam Alajiki is another one to keep an eye on, but he's in the earlier stages of his recruitment with schools just starting to discover him. Same with Javon Ruffin.
