Here are some quick comments from Justin Wilcox during the LA Bowl press conference that just wrapped up. The Cal head coach said the program has made "a lot of progress" in the search for a new offensive coordinator. He added that the team is "full speed ahead" with the current staff going into the bowl game.
As far as who might or might not play in the LA Bowl, Wilcox says he has spoken with Jaydn Ott and others who have maintained that they plan to play for the Bears later this month but he declined to comment whether or not it is a certainty.
