Just talked to the Hinds CC safety about his Cal OV. Here's the notable stuff:
He was offered on the visit. He's visiting Minnesota this weekend and then will make a decision. Didn't sound like he was actually committed to Troy at all, basically a two team race.
He measured in at 6'2/195 on the trip. Cal likes him at field safety, where McClure plays currently.
Cal first hit him up about 6 weeks ago, visited him about three weeks ago. Burns is his primary recruiter.
He had never been to the West Coast before. It exceeded his expectations. He's originally from Natchez, Mississippi and Darius White was his host. A fellow Mississippian and JuCo DB that had a lot of valuable perspective.
Loved the campus and meeting the academic advisor. He wants to study biology.
He's a 2 to play 2.
