Talked to the newest addition to the 2015 class last night. He's being brought in as a free safety. Staff likes his size, range and ability to come downhill. This actually all went down over the course of the last several weeks with everything being kept quiet as both the staff and Vanderbilt ensured he'd be admitted to Cal. He signed almost two weeks ago.
He'd been on Cal's radar for a while and was originally being targeted for the 2014 class but his grades made that impossible. Then after he didn't sign back in February with BYU, Greg Burns was the first to reach out and get the ball rolling on bringing him in. He's here now though and will start summer school in a couple weeks. He's happy obviously, but mostly ready to move on and get started.
